Reviewal

after reviewing my project i found that the character was going along fine until the pose stage.i added on my handin cd "fullyarmatured" and "textured", from these stages i messed up the texturing and my armature wasnt linear enough i dont thnk. I will review these files and c wat i can do 2 fix my problems

Render Problems

my rendering has gone all wrong as i assume my texturing of liguardo was wrong, in all my panels liguardo is textured except for the shading tab where he is ugly and not coloured.im trying to fix this but have been on it for hours and its not looking good

back to the face

went back to the face of liguardo to try and form some facial features, didnt come off at all, the vertices i was left with were not easily manipulated and were very hard to place, this does give me an ugly "bug" look tho, and with little time left it will have to do

Armature

created the armature for liguardo, everything sems to be going well. i did find tho that not doing sufficient prep work at the beginning of the project has hardened and limited my ability to get everything the way i wanted it. e.g i didnt start on the grid plane so rotating and moving around axes etc has become very difficult especially involved with the armature

progress

i built my mock up model in blender but talked to kah and the fact that i used different shapes moulded together will become fragmented once i start the walkcycle so i need to remake liguardo, using a cubeand extruding the whole body out

The begginning

my characters design is going to be precedented by the animated cartoon character "Atom Ant". 'Atom' is obviously an ant, normal dimensions and size of your usual ant but he has one slight difference, he is insanely strong. I like the fact that he is small so I can (and have to) get right in there and display ways of working in all the real intricacies of the characters shell/exterior. I really enjoyed the cartoon when I was ypunger so am extremely looking forward to making a good go of this project.
